it should have come with the stock when you bought it…. take it back to the store you bought it at or call Tippmann…. they are realy good about sending out free stuff to customers if needed….

It is never about the gun….the only thing differant about Mechs vs Electros is the way the gun works, however the results are the same. same accuracy, same paint, same barrels. and some Mech guns are able to reach 24+bps

that is kinda my point. I have noticed that the majority of people that seem the most concerned with BPS tend to be the newer players. This is not to say that BPS should be overlooked, however most experienced players tend to stop caring about max-rof and more about consistancy of performance. This is why Shockers, Angels, and Vices have not vanished in a land of DM9s and Ego-09s.

i play on a semi-pro team that went to the PSP in jacksonvill florida. AND lost…. Im saying is if you are really into paintball and you are a beginner. I would get a electronic-marker.. Aka like a PMR. Or a Slg. If you are going to play paintball in the woods the whole time and not anything for speedball. The company ON is a starter everything, even guitars, no kidding. I have an ION guitar, great one to get me started, I haven’t seen an ION paintball gun, but it’s a semi auto go for it. Semi autos are beast no matter what brand.

trust me theres lots but never look for one online. i always go at my local speedball field. theres always players selling their old markers. but i dont trust anybody that easy, i see the same people over and over at the field, and most of them im already friends with so i could count on them a lot more. and i suspect how they treat their gear

try “first call paintball” or “Doro Paintball” (google them for websites)….. both carry decent used markers, as well as new ones for decent prices…….I get my guns from ebay, but I like repairing markers so I get some sweet deals that way.

hey, im trying to start paintball, and i want to start out on speed ball, or hyperball. which type of gun should i get?

typical setup is a 200 round hopper and a 20oz CO2 tank…….. but for speedball I wouldnt suggest co2, it doesnt do well in a rapid-fire situation……. I would suggest getting a Spyder as a marker, it can handle both co2 and air, and it is a decent marker to learn on…… and once you get better you can then move on to higher-end guns

True. Ego’s are great guns they have a low break and there highly efficient, but you can turn any gun great with a few upgrades

a lot of fields wont let you use full auto because either their insurance wont cover it, or the field gets a lot of new players and full-auto tends to scare off new players who take 8-10 balls to the chest……

tippmann 98’s are great. I have one. Its not meant to be fast, but tough, very tough. FPS? Mine can shoot up to 400fps but I keep it on 275fps. The FPS is controlled by how much co2 is put into the gun per shot. The higher fps, the more co2. The lower fps, the less co2. It’s adjustable. There’s an allen screw on the side of the gun that adjusts it. Hope this helps

The higher the speed = the more paint you need = the more money is comin in for the industry of this … strange game.

dont forget that anything over 300fps can be dangerous…….and most paintballs will shred in mid air at 340fps……so your just wasting your time cranking your gun up to max fps.

paintball might be more intense but it is not as realistic as airsoft. We actually want a tactical experience. I play paintball every once in a while and say it’s fun but overall airsoft gives more of a tactical experience.
